If you’re coming to POP and you’re on Facebook or Twitter – we now have our very own POP twibbon which means you can display your support on your profile picture – just log in to the Twibbon site and follow the instructions. Or if you prefer a roll-your-own approach, you can change your profile pic to one of our POP posters, as a number of tweeters have already done. Because who doesn’t love a panda on a Brompton?
That’s not all your social media options either – if Facebook is your thing you can join our Facebook group and let us know by joining our event – and then inviting all of your friends to come along too (not just your bikey friends – it’s surprising how many people who don’t ride their bikes much turn out to be interested in seeing safer cycling so they could). If you’re planning on organising a feeder ride then you could create a Facebook event of your own for it – with ones from South Edinburgh, Portobello and Musselburgh already up and running (let us know if you do, so we can add it to the site). And of course please keep tweeting, blogging, and (for the really old school among you) going out and actually telling people about POP in person. Because if they haven’t heard about it, how can they come and join us on Sunday May 19th to demand our politicians make Scotland a cycle friendly nation?
