Since POP in April, we’ve been asking people to find one thing, and campaign to change it. But that’s hard, and not everyone has a large experienced established cycle campaign to help them.

That’s where our friends at We Walk, We Cycle, We Vote can help – they’re running two free regional campaigners’ days, the first in Kilmarnock on the 8th September and the second in Aberdeen on the 29th September. Based on their popular national workshops, these will offer a mixture of presentations from experienced campaigners, hands-on activities and discussion and, most importantly, a chance to meet and network with other campaigns in the region.

Booking is open now for the Kilmarnock day which will bring together groups and individuals from Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway – or even those in Glasgow. The Aberdeen day will be open for booking shortly too and will bring in groups from Aberdeen and Inverness and beyond. Both days are free (although a small donation to help cover the cost of lunch and the venue would be welcome).

So, whether you’re already up to your neck in campaigning, or if you’ve just found something you’d like to change and don’t know where to start – get off to a flying start this autumn with an energising and inspiring day.
