With the Holyrood elections coming up in May we had hoped to run a mass Pedal on Parliament this year. Sadly, the continuing pandemic has made that impossible, but we believe that PoP is too important to be put on hold.

This year is not just about the elections. The eyes of the world will soon be on Scotland as the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) comes to Glasgow in November, and we need to be seen to be taking the lead. And so we have decided to use this year’s PoP to shine a light on cycling as one key way that we can tackle rising emissions.

By using projections and light, at home or locally as individuals, we want to light up Scotland with two simple messages:
