Pedal on Parliament is a nationwide event drawing in cyclists from all over the country – but simply getting their bike to Edinburgh may be a challenge for some. A group of Glaswegian cyclists who are up for a challenge (or who don’t fancy cramming their bikes on the trains) have organised a feeder ride in from Glasgow all the way to Edinburgh  – at a pace described as a ‘very relaxed’. There has also been talk of a group ride in from Harrison Park in Edinburgh.

We hope we’ll see some more of these and as plans develop, we’ll be adding them to the list on this page. If you’re planning such a ride please do let us know by emailing hello {at} pedalonparliament.org, or posting on our facebook group or the event page if facebook is your thing. Those coming from further afield might want to team up if they’re driving in and park on the outskirts of the city for a group ride in – please let us know if you’d like to organise such a thing, or if you can help with route planning or where best to park and ride.

Our route page now has a link to the CycleStreets journey planner if you want to make your own way. And if you don’t feel you can bring your bike at all – never fear, there will be plenty of folks who are walking, skating or scooting on Parliament too.
