After a long summer break – it’s that time of year again, as we crank up the PoP machine and start planning for next year. We’d like to invite everyone who supports our aims – whether you’re actively involved, a regular participant, or just ‘PoP curious’ – to join us for our online AGM at 7pm on November 6th. This is a chance to look back at the year just gone and forward to our plans for next year. It’s also your opportunity to find out how you can get involved and help to keep the pressure on for delivery for cycling and active travel in Scotland

While PoP takes place at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, 2023 will see the UCI World Championships descending on Scotland, centred on Glasgow. This is a massive opportunity to turn the spotlight on cycling in all its forms, and on enabling active transport for everyone. We’re not sure yet what we might do to capitalise on this, or how we might do it – but if you’re Glasgow based or could help out there, then we’re particularly keen for you to join us!

That said, PoP is a Scotland-wide movement and we’ve had involvement in past years from Inverness to Dumfries – so wherever you’re based come along, bring your ideas and your enthusiasm, and let’s get ready for PoP 2023. If you’re interested, sign up via Eventbrite to receive a link to the meeting. And if you want to help, but can’t make it on the day, please email us on to let us know.
