Recent political announcements such as the doubling of active travel funding show that we’re starting to make a difference – but more than ever, we can’t stop now. Not only do we need to keep the pressure up on the Scottish Government to make sure that extra money isn’t wasted, there are still local authorities like East Dunbartonshire which don’t have the political will to invest in cycling. We need to show our politicians, local and national, that we’re not going away. But because we’re in it for the long haul, we do need more people to join us and help out. And that’s where you come in…

Join us at the Bike Station in Edinburgh on Thursday 23rd November (6-7:30pm) if you can help out with organising Pedal on Parliament, particularly on the ground in Edinburgh where we’ve lost a few key people in recent years. If you have ideas about how we can make our campaigning more effective, we’d love to hear those too. And if you can’t come, but do want to help in any capacity, please email us (hello@pedalonparliament.org) and let us know.
