With POP now in its sixth year, and the Scottish local authority elections looming, we’re ringing the changes with mass rides in four of Scotland’s cities: on Saturday 22nd April there will be simultaneous rides in Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen, and on Sunday 23rd April we take to the streets of Glasgow.
We’re very excited to announce that POP Inverness will be organising a Pedal on Parliament ride on the same day as the Edinburgh ride. Meet at Bellfield Park at 11:30 am to pedal on the Highland Council Headquarters on Glenurquhart Road. Although there will be no road closures, the ride will take two routes, one suitable for more experienced cyclists and one using quieter roads for those who prefer it.
You can find out more, including route maps and specific local information on the PoP Inverness site.
